Bethany Logan graduated from Ohio University with a BFA in Dance & Choreography and a Minor in Psychology in May 2015. She is a Brooklyn-based dancer, choreographer, teaching artist, 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Personal Trainer. Logan currently dances with BABEL Movement and Chris Ferris & Dancers. Her past performances include Kelley Donovan & Dancers, The Physical Plant, Sandra Kramerova & Artists, The Median Movement, and Doug Neilson, and recently performed works by Olivia Dwyer, Marika Brussell, and Madison Plummer in Boulder, Colorado. Logan's choreography has been performed in NYC, Mumbai, India, at the University of Dayton, and was selected for the American College Dance Association Gala Concert. She is also one of twelve choreographers to be selected and receive scholarship for Doug Varone & Dancer’s DEVICES Choreographic Mentorship 2018 program. Logan studied Prana Paint Flow with Navdhara India Dance Theatre and received Ohio University’s College of Fine Arts Award to study Ohad Naharin’s Gaga technique with Batsheva dancer, Shaked Dagan, in Italy. She is thrilled to be The BDC Competition Team Director.
