Ian Schmoke, originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, is a recent graduate from Penn State University. Growing up with a passion and love for performing, he then furthered his opportunities by dancing competitively and professionally.

Immediately after graduating high school, Ian began his professional career with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL) where he traveled the world on the Majesty of the Seas. For Royal Caribbean, he was a member of the production cast as a dancer where he was a performer in two main-stage shows, flash mobs, and taught/choreographed classes for the other cast members.

While in college, Ian has had opportunities with Penn State’s Centre Stage in their productions of Kiss of the Spiderwoman as a Swing and A Chorus Line as an Ensemble member. Some of his other credits include the Cavalier in the Nutcracker Ballet at the State Theatre and being the assistant choreographer for the Penn State vs Ohio State Halftime show in 2018 that was watched by over 110,000 people in attendance.

Outside of the theatre world, Ian is interested in exercise/fitness, traveling, and hiking.
