Zuri Foreman

Zuri Foreman is a professional dancer, singer, and actress based in New York City.  Born and raised in the D.C. Metropolitan Area, Zuri has been a performer since the age of 3. She has been trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Hip-Hop, African Dance, Voice, and Acting. She holds a B.S. in Public Relations from St. John’s University and a Dance Theatre Certificate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

 

Zuri has performed in several Regional Theatre’s across the United States.

Her recent works include playing; Rosa Parks in an original musical titled "Rosa's Ride", an Ensemble dancer in "Crazy For You", and a Principal Dancer in a feature film titled "Passing". Zuri is also a company member of "Taptastic" a Rhythm Tap Company based out of NYC. 

 

Currently, Zuri teaches 12 dance classes per week at the Brooklyn Dance Centers, and Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center. She auditions frequently and continues to work towards her goal of being on Broadway. After Broadway, Zuri plans to own her own non-profit dance company dedicated to serving under-privileged youth. She plans to offer free and reduced-price classes to youth interested in the arts all over the country.  In her spare time Zuri enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and watching Law & Order SVU.
